Branch ISD -

Kierstyn Johnson is a senior at Bronson High School (BHS). She is also enrolled in the Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources program at the Branch Area Careers Center (BACC). Her On-the-Job Training (OJT) placement is at B & M Crop Consulting, where she works as an agronomy intern under the direction of Missy Bauer. Her job duties include assisting with crop sample collection and analysis, soil testing, and office work.

At the BACC, Kierstyn has been inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. She is also a member of FFA.

After high school, Kierstyn plans to attend the KCC Ag Science/MSU Institute of Agricultural Technology and become a professional agronomist.

Missy says, “I love Kierstyn’s attention to detail. She is exposed to a wide variety of seeds and soil conditions. She asks smart questions, and I know we can rely on her. She has a bright future in the agriculture business.”
