Angel Brito-Salto is a senior at Coldwater High School and a student in the Business Management, Marketing, and Technology program at the Branch Area Careers Center (BACC). He completes his on-the-job training (OJT) at Southern Michigan Bank and Trust under the supervision of Connie Caudill, where he prepares and images files, creates spreadsheets, and organizes mortgage documents. Through this experience, Angel is building strong workplace and technical skills.
Angel enjoys learning how banking systems work and values the quiet, professional environment of the bank. He feels that OJT has helped him gain a clearer understanding of real-world procedures and has given him confidence in his abilities.
At BACC, Angel is an active member of both the National Technical Honor Society and Business Professionals of America. He has earned certifications in Marketing Fundamentals, Generative AI Foundations, Entrepreneurship, and Professional Communication, and he has maintained perfect attendance.
At Coldwater High School, Angel participates in cross-country and soccer. After completing his 13th year at CHS, he plans to attend college to pursue a degree in accounting and work toward a career in the accounting field.
