Branch ISD -

Iszy Reyes is a senior at Colon High School (CHS). She also attends the Business Management, Marketing, and Technology program at the Branch Area Careers Center (BACC). Her On-the-Job Training (OJT) placement is with the Tibbits Opera House under the direction of Christine Delaney. Her job duties include ticket sales, customer support, and office management. Her favorite part of the job is meeting new people and learning how the theater operates, including all the fun behind-the-scenes work that goes into each production.

Iszy feels that her OJT experience has helped her learn the ins and outs of running a nonprofit organization. At the BACC, she is a member of the student organization Business Professionals of America (BPA). At CHS, Iszy is an active member of the Colon Drama Society.

After graduation, Iszy plans to attend college to study acting and marketing.

Christine Delaney says, "Iszy has been a great addition to Tibbits staff. She has caught on quickly and grown her responsibilities. She brings a great attitude every day. We all love the energy she brings to our office and the theatre.”
