Branch ISD -

Adilee McKnight is a senior at Quincy High School (QHS), and she also attends the Computer Networking Technologies program at the Branch Area Careers Center (BACC). Her On-the-Job Training (OJT) placement is with the Quincy Community Schools Information Technology Department under the direction of Logan Jenkins. Her job duties include maintaining Chromebooks and assisting with network issues. Her favorite part of the job is taking apart computers and learning about the new computer programs used throughout the school. Adilee feels that OJT has strengthened her hardware troubleshooting skills and increased her network awareness.

At the BACC, Adilee is a member of the student organization Business Professionals of America (BPA). Through BPA, she has competed at both the regional and state levels.

At QHS, Adilee is an active member of the Quincy Drama Society.

After graduation, Adilee intends to further her education and pursue a degree in cybersecurity.

Logan Jenkins says, “She is an extremely hard worker and is always looking for things to do. She really makes my job easier, and I’m glad she’s here.”
