Magaly Bustos Aburto is a senior at Coldwater High School and also attends the Business Management, Marketing, and Technology program at the Branch Area Careers Center (BACC). Her On-the-Job (OJT) Training placement is at Rainbow Motor Sales, where she works as an office assistant under the direction of Michelle Streets. Her job duties include greeting customers, scheduling appointments, tracking inventory, and supporting business development. After high school, Magaly intends to pursue a career in real estate sales.
Magaly’s favorite part of her OJT placement is being creative and learning about the different cars that come to the lot. She says her job has helped her tremendously with her communication skills, especially when working with customers.
At CHS, Magaly is active in the Interact Club. At the BACC, she is a member of the student organization Business Professionals of America.
Michelle says “Magaly is dependable, motivated, and a joy to have on our team. She’s eager to learn, and it’s exciting to see her grow her skills in the car business and marketing.”
