Connor Ludwick is a senior at Bronson High School and attends the Computer Networking program at the Branch Area Careers Center. His On-the-Job (OJT) Training placement is at Southern Michigan Bank & Trust, where he works as a computer support technician under the direction of TJ Wallo. His job duties include updating devices on the bank's network, maintaining asset lists, and completing troubleshooting support tickets. His career goal is to enter the computer security and networking field.
At the BACC, Connor has earned the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) A+ Certification and is a member of the career and technical student organization Business Professionals of America.
Connor’s favorite part about his OJT placement is that he and his coworkers share a common passion for computers and technology. Connor says, “I’m always learning new things while I’m on the job. I like that I get a good feel for what the work would be like after high school. I love my job.”
TJ says, “Even though Connor has recently joined the team, he has already become a valuable member. He is quick to learn and takes great initiative in starting and completing projects. We are glad to have him.”
