Yocelyn Rodriguez is a senior attending Bronson Jr/Sr High School and is enrolled in the Business, Management, Marketing & Technology program at the Branch Area Careers Center. Yocelyn is employed through the On-The-Job Training program at Coldwater WalMart as a Retail Associate. Her supervisor is Michael Taylor. Her job duties include price changing, assisting customers, putting out freight, folding clothes and re-stocking. Yocelyn feels her OJT placement has helped her improve her customer service skills, increase her confidence, and learn how to handle difficult customers. Yocelyn feels the best part of her OJT training is getting to know her co-workers, learning how to work in all store departments, and helping her bi-lingual customers. She is a member of Business Professionals of America at the BACC. Last year, Yocelyn served as the Vice President. She has competed at the BPA State Leadership Conference for the past 2 years qualifying with the Torch Leadership Award. She also participated in the Western Michigan University Sales Challenge and placed top ten in the Personal Pitch contest. At Bronson High School, Yocelyn is involved in Yearbook class. Her plan after graduation is to attend beauty college to become a nail and lash technician. In her spare time, Yocelyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going out and trying new things, and doing her nails and eyelashes. Yocelyn is the daughter of Rene Rodriguez and Esbeyda Martinez.
