Special Education Locations
Most special education services and instruction takes place in the K-12 school districts (Bronson Community Schools, Coldwater Community Schools, and Quincy Community Schools) with the exception of the following programs.
Special Education Administration:
Staff available at this location include supervisors, psychologists, social worker, behavioral specialist, speech staff, occupational and physical therapists, and clerical staff. Requests for student records or questions about IEPs can be directed to the building secretary.
Waldron Learning Center:
The Waldron Center provides educational services for students with moderate to severe impairments (MCI, SCI, and SXI). Classes run daily from 8:20 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.
Dorothy Legg Learning Center:
The Dorothy Legg Learning Center is a structured educational program for students where other educational options were proven unsuccessful. The purpose of this program is to provide students with an educational experience outside the traditional classroom to learn skills that are necessary to be successful in everyday life.
Pathways to Independence Program:
The Pathways Program provides educational services for students ages 19-26 who require additional time to gain skills leading to enhanced independence and gainful employment.
