I have always been into cars and wanted to know how to fix damaged vehicles. I also wanted to be able to paint vehicles to bring them back to original condition. I learned a lot at the Careers Center about collision repair. I was able to participate in on-the-job training (OJT) my first year enrolled. I also competed in SkillsUSA for Collision Repair Events and won state, then went on to place 10th at the national event in Kansas City. Doing well in SkillsUSA helped me earn a full scholarship to Wyotech School.
